SDG 17: Strengthening the means of implementation and revitalizing the global partnership for sustainable development

11.01.2024. The Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law, together with the leadership of the Law Faculty of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, organized a charity event within the framework of providing voluntary humanitarian assistance to compatriots affected by the flood. Students of the Faculty of Law also took part in the action. 
It is known that villagers in regions where rescuers have to carry out mass evacuations suffered the most from meltwater. In this regard, necessary things (household goods) were transferred to residents of the flood-affected regions.
Dean of the Faculty of Law, Prof. D.L. Baideldinov, Head of the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law, Prof. Kuanalieva G.A. called on all concerned citizens to support our compatriots who found themselves in a difficult situation due to floods, to show solidarity and a high civic position in overcoming the consequences of a natural disaster.
