The Faculty of Oriental Studies also contributed to humanitarian assistance to KazNU

In recent days, Kazakh society has been worried about the population whose territories were in the flood area. Teachers and students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University remained indifferent to the misfortune of their compatriots. Teachers and students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies took the initiative to provide all possible assistance to a family whose normal life was disrupted by natural disasters. After discussion, it was decided to collect all possible assistance in the form of mattresses, blankets, pillows and towels. Today, the Faculty of Oriental Studies made their small contribution for the flood victims and delivered them to the reception center. These days, we, like millions of our fellow citizens, the teaching staff of the Faculty of Oriental Studies empathize with the residents of the regions affected by floods. We sympathize and hope that the consequences of the floods will soon be eliminated and people will be able to return to their homes.
