MODERN TRENDS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF A RESEARCH UNIVERSITY

On February 21, 2024, an expert strategic session entitled “MODERN TRENDS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF A RESEARCH UNIVERSITY” was held at Kazakh State University. This event discussed strategies for the digital transformation of a research university with the goal of providing effective and accessible learning for a diverse group of students based on the principle of equal access to learning.

Professor of the Department of Health Policy and Organization, Tanbaeva G.Z., presented a report on the prospects of the digital educational environment in the training of healthcare professionals. She emphasized the importance of using VR and AR technologies in this process. According to the American company Goldman Sachs, by 2025 the use of VR and AR technologies in medicine should reach second place in terms of software market volume ($6.1 billion). The development and integration of the digital educational environment in medical education is an important step in modern healthcare
