Within the framework of SDG 4.3.4 Educational Outreach beyond the university campus and SDG 17.2. 3 International cooperation on data collection for sustainable development from March 23 to April 5, 2024 Master students of the 2nd year of educational programs 7M07106 - Chemical Technology of Organic Substances and 7M07203 - Technology of Pharmaceutical Production of the Department of Chemistry and Technology of Organic Substances, natural compounds and polymers - Nazarova Irada Rustamkyzy, Aizhan Akhmetkyzy Asetova and Balzhan Akhmetkyzy Asetova underwent scientific training at the National University of Uzbekistan and were assigned to the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry named after academician A. S. Sadykov and Institute of Chemistry of Plant Substances of Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan in Tashkent.

Master students were warmly welcomed by the Head of the Department of Natural Compounds Boboev Bakhrom Nurillaevich and organized a small excursion to the department and directly to the institutes.

The Institute of Chemistry of Plant Substances of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan has laboratories for flavonoids and terpenoids, lipids, alkaloids, carbohydrates, coumarins and others. Each laboratory is equipped with modern equipment such as NMR (400 and 600 MHz), IR, mass spectrometers, HPLC, GLC, GC-MS, PCA, etc. This institute is in close relations with the scientific and technological center for testing and technologies of production of drug substances according to GMP requirements. B.S. Ohundedaev, who supervises the scientific internship of master students, provided all kinds of assistance in performing the analyses throughout the whole period of the internship.

Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry has 5 laboratories on advanced directions, each laboratory is equipped with modern equipment, which allowed master students to conduct full-fledged analyses in the shortest possible time and in practice to understand the subtleties of sample preparation and work on chromatographs under the careful guidance of PhD Akmal Asrorov, head of the laboratory of chemistry of proteins and peptides. Thanks to this, good results were obtained for quantitative analysis of vitamins, amino acids.

According to master's students, the internship was productive and inspired them to more active research work.
