Greening the Almaty city

On April 27, 2024, as part of the campaign “Almaty is our common home” and SDG 15 “Life on land” (15.2.3 Support and expansion of the biodiversity of existing ecosystems), students of the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology under the guidance of the senior lecturer of the Department of Analytical, Colloid Chemistry and Technology of Rare Elements Akbar Dauletbay held a landscaping event in the Alatau district of Almaty. By participating in cleaning and landscaping, students contributed to the goal of supporting and preserving terrestrial plant biodiversity in the Almaty city.
