Opening Ceremony of the "Arabic Language and Culture Hall" will be held at the Faculty of Oriental Studies, al-Farabi Kazakh National University

On May 17, 2024, at 10:00, the grand opening of the "Arabic Language and Culture Hall," funded under the direct guidance of His Highness Sheikh Sultan Al-Qasimi, Ruler of the Emirate of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, will take place. The event will be held at the Department of Middle Eastern and South Asian Studies, Faculty of Oriental Studies, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

The opening of the hall commemorates the 90th anniversary of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and the 40th anniversary of the Arabic Studies Department, which was first established in the early years of the Faculty of Oriental Studies. The opening ceremony, with the participation of delegations from the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the United Arab Emirates, the Embassy of the UAE in Kazakhstan, the "Academy of Arabic Language" in the UAE (Sharjah), and the "International Institute of Cultural Diplomacy" (Dubai), will take place in the "Arabic Language and Culture Hall" of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, with the participation of a special delegation from the Republic of Kazakhstan and renowned Arab scholars.
