Every year, on the third Thursday of November, International Smoking Cessation Day is celebrated in many countries of the world. It was founded in 1977 by the American Cancer Society.
In honor of this significant date, on November 16, a curatorial hour was held, organized by the curator-adviser of the 4th year of the Department of Religious Studies and Cultural Studies of the specialty "6b03102-cultural studies" Kudaibergenov Sergazi Yerezhepuly. The goal of the International Smoking Cessation Day at curatorial hour is to help reduce the spread of tobacco addiction, involve all segments of the population and doctors of all specialties in the fight against smoking, prevent smoking and inform the public about harmful substances.
