Republican subject Olympiad in the fields of "Chemical technology of organic substances" and "Chemical technology of inorganic substances"

From 2 to 4 May 2024, the Republican subject Olympiad in the areas of "Chemical technology of organic substances" and "Chemical technology of inorganic substances" was held on the basis of the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The purpose of the Olympiad was to identify the most prepared and talented students studying in these areas, as well as to improve the quality of professional education for middle-level specialists and stimulate the creative activity of teaching staff through mentoring. The event was attended by 16 participants from five educational institutions, including K.I. Satpayev Kazakh National Research University, K. Zhubanov Aktobe Regional University, Almaty Technological University, E.A. Buketov Karaganda University and Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The Olympiad consisted of two stages: computer testing and solving a technological problem problem based on real production scenarios of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
