Strength in Unity

Within the framework of the project SDG 4.3.3 Vocational training activities (lifelong learning) and SDG17.3 Relationships to support sustainable development goals on May 3, 2024 was held an educational event dedicated to the Holiday of Unity of the people of Kazakhstan on the theme "Strength in Unity" for the students of the 2nd year of the educational program "Technology of Pharmaceutical Production" in 410 classroom of the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology.

The organizers were master students of the 1st year of "Chemical Technology of Organic Substances", Malayev A. and Medimanova D.

The event had the purpose - to contribute to the formation of students' ideas about the development of friendly relations with other nations, to instill the importance of patriotism, respect for the peoples living in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Also, increasing the interest of students to learn about other cultures, fostering respect and reverence for the representatives of other peoples, their traditions and customs.

During the presentation were covered: historical background of the formation of the day of unity as a symbol of friendship, harmony of all ethnic groups of the country, patriotism, and devotion to the state and the people in the Republic of Kazakhstan, a comparative analysis of the national composition of the country on the census of different years. In the second half were held thematic interactive games such as riddles and proverbs and intellectual quiz "Own game", correct answers of students were encouraged by mini-prizes.

During the event, students showed great interest in the topic, asked and answered questions and actively participated in quizzes. Also, they joined the discussion of the topic, gladly shared their impressions and opinions.

As a result, it is safe to say that the set goals and objectives were successfully accomplished.
