Since the times of the Soviet Union, medical specialists / doctors, nurses / have been forced to take part-time jobs, including in other medical institutions. The reason for this is well known: they were trying to supplement their family budget. However, it is known that these efforts lead to fatigue and emotional burnout of specialists, and especially if we take into account the marital status of many, we can say that it is also an obstacle to working on self-improvement in the professional field, including such things as: additional readings and discussions recently published articles on medicine, and allocating time for physical recovery and leisure.

I read the interview of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Kemelyevich Tokayev to the newspaper “Egemendi Qazaqstan” entitled “As a progressive nation, we must look only forward” and I was touched by the fact that the State of Kazakhstan has significantly increased the salaries of medical specialists, I think this is very good news. I hope the new year brings rapid changes in the medical field.

I hope that if the salaries of medical specialists are satisfactory, they will be able to improve their skills every day without looking for additional work and income, pay attention to their health and family, and fulfill their duties with great interest and responsibility. Young people will be willing to choose medicine as their future profession.

In modern times, health is the main wealth of the country, therefore, in addition to promoting the treatment and formation of health problems, the main task of a medical specialist is to prevent diseases and make a great contribution to preventing outbreaks of diseases.

Therefore, medical specialists of the Republic of Kazakhstan must keep pace with modern international medical practice.
