We are in favour of preserving ecosystems

As part of the pedagogical practice of first-year master’s students in the specialty “Mechanics and Energy”, an open lesson was conducted for second-year undergraduate students of the Kazakh division in the specialty “Mechanics” on the topic “Preservation of Terrestrial Ecosystems”.  The event was successfully organized in collaboration with the students and involved planting seedlings of four species (chestnut, catalpa, hibiscus, thuja) on the territory of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics.

This initiative represented an important step toward achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, promoting green landscaping and reducing the carbon footprint. Our students actively participated in the planting process, demonstrating not only their ecological skills but also a positive attitude toward environmental stewardship. Together, we discussed the importance of preserving trees and plants for our planet and for future generations.

The event provided an excellent opportunity for hands-on experience and inspired participants to engage further in environmental protection projects. Our department takes pride in this achievement and hopes that our work will continue to make a positive contribution to ecological sustainability.
