On September 11, 2024, more than 100 1st year students and teachers of the Faculty of Oriental Studies took part in a clean-up day at the university. The clean-up day was held as part of the Green Campus Cleanliness Week. At this event, the Faculty of Oriental Studies was represented by 1st year students and their advisors.  Cleanliness Week is a traditional time to restore cleanliness and order, and clean–up days are a good tradition that unites everyone.  During the clean-up day, everyone had the opportunity to prove themselves in a common meaningful cause. Armed with the necessary equipment, students and teachers amicably cleaned up garbage on the territory of the main building of the Treasury, raked fallen autumn foliage and dead wood, pruned trees and shrubs, dismantled piles of sawn branches. "A clean–up day is a civic position of a person who is ready to donate his personal time and energy to make nature, his country, and the university better. This is not only an event for the improvement and cleaning of the territory, but also a great opportunity to make the team of students and teachers even more cohesive," said Natalia Borisovna Yem, Dean of the Faculty.
