“Climate Challenges Encourage Modernization of Water Resources Management”.

     Today the newspaper “Kazakhstanskaya Pravda” published an article by Dr. S.J. Suleimenova, Professor, Head of the Department of Civil Law and Civil Procedure, Labor Law, on the topic “Climate Challenges Encourage Modernization of Water Resources Management”. The article provides an in-depth analysis of water resources management in the light of climate change consequences. In his Address, the President of the country calls for environmental actions such as “Taza Kazakhstan”, which is an excellent example of involving citizens in taking care of nature.     

    The directions announced by the Head of State in his Address to reduce water deficit will help to provide for financial risks of the state and population, as well as risks in agricultural activities. Emphasis on the water sector and ecology is seen as an important step towards building a sustainable future for Kazakhstan.
