Agreement with Chankyry Karateki University
A delegation headed by the rector of Çankırı Karatekin University in Turkey, Harun Çiftçi, has arrived at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University on a working visit.
Acting Deputy Chairman of the Board - First Vice-Rector of KazNU Yerkin Duisenov met with the guests of honour.
During the negotiations the parties discussed topical issues of bilateral partnership and co-operation. They also signed a memorandum of co-operation. The agreement provides for staff training, exchange of experience and practices in conducting joint scientific research.
At the meeting, Erkin Duisenov noted the high level of close co-operation between the brotherly countries and spoke about the achievements and further plans of KazNU.
‘Al-Farabi Kazakh National University successfully co-operates and maintains close relations with universities in Turkey. In 2022, a branch of KazNU was opened in Istanbul University. The TURKSOY Chair is successfully working in the higher education institution. I am confident that today's agreement will further expand cooperation with Çankırı Karatekin University’, - said the Vice-Rector.
For his part, Rector of Chankıra Karateki University Harun Çiftçi emphasised that he would make every effort to develop partnership between the two universities.
‘Chankyry Karateki University was founded in 2007. Currently there are more than 10 thousand students studying in the educational institution. Friendly relations between KazNU and Chankyry Karatekin University have reached a new stage. In this regard, I would like to say that we are always open to new ideas and new approaches to cooperation’, - said Harun Ciftci.
