The traditional initiation ceremony of first-year students was held at the Japanese Studies Department
Тhe meeting was attended by the faculty and students of the Far East Department. As part of the event, a third-year student, Ayala Mundabekova, danced the Kazakh national dance "Tartu", a second-year student of the Kazakh department, Akimkhan Akpeyil, played the famous musical piece "Erke sylkym" on the dombra. Second-year students of the Russian department danced a dance to the famous Japanese piece "Akuma no kо". First-year students also prepared interesting numbers for this event. For example, a first-year student, Alidar Shakhymov, performed a song in Japanese "Overdose". In addition, during the meeting, a quiz was organized for students on the history and culture of the land of the rising sun, and special prizes were awarded to participants who answered correctly. After the concert program was over, a small table was set and a buffet was organized. The event took place in a very warm and friendly atmosphere.
