"Peace, justice and effective institutions"

On September 20, 2024 within the framework of implementation of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) - 16 UN "Peace, Justice and Effective Institutions" and comprehensive anti-corruption plan of the Al-Farabi Kaznu for 2024-25 academic year together with the participation of Compliance Service was held a meeting with students of the Faculty of "International Relations" to explain the norms of anti-corruption legislation and "University Beyond Corruption". During the meeting the lecturers of the department "Theory and History of State and Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law" Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor Kultemirova L.T. and M.J.S. Smagulova S. revealed, told in detail about the concept of "Corruption", what are the types of corruption offenses. The seminar also raised questions about strengthening anti-corruption culture, atmosphere of trust and fairness among students and teachers of the university.
At the end of the event, the speakers shared their experience and practice in dealing with corruption offenses and answered the students' questions. The seminar was held at a high level and was very useful for young people.
