"Choosing a profession - from dreams to reality"

On October 1, 2024, as part of the "SDG" 4 program, the Department of "Theory and History of State and Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law" hosted a leadership lecture by Saule Akhmetova on the topic "Choosing a profession - from dreams to reality". 

 How to decide on a direction in the legal profession? The choice between the bar, public service, private practice or scientific activity can become difficult. 
Therefore, the speaker discussed a number of issues at the lecture:

The main directions of a legal career and their prospects.
What skills and personal qualities are important for a successful lawyer.
How to choose a specialization: criminal law, civil law, international law, etc.
What challenges await novice lawyers and how to overcome them.
The role of self-development and additional education in a lawyer's career.

The lecture was held at a high level and was very productive. The speaker shared her knowledge, practical advice and gave answers to her questions.
