The team from the Department of Mechanics participated in the international championship "Super Cup BRICS+ Future Skills & Tech Challenge."
From September 22 to 27, 2024, the final stage of the International Championship "Super Cup BRICS+ Future Skills & Tech Challenge" took place in Kazan (Republic of Tatarstan, Russia) at the International Competence Center, based at the State Autonomous Professional Educational Institution "Kazan College of Information Technology and Communication" (GAPOU "MCK-KTITS", Kazan).
The BRICS 2024 Super Cup gathered more than 500 participants and experts from 16 countries and BRICS Plus member states, including Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Brazil, Belarus, Vietnam, Ghana, India, Iran, China, Colombia, Kyrgyzstan, Morocco, Russia, El Salvador, the Philippines, and South Africa.
The team representing Al-Farabi Kazakh National University included students from the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, Department of Mechanics: Alibek Galimov, Nurzhan Danenov, Akniyet Shaimardanov, and from the Faculty of Information Technology: Zhasulan Molzhigitov. The team was led by Alexander Valentinovich Kim, Ph.D., who acted as the team leader.
The KazNU team participated in the "Digital Production" competency, successfully completing all tasks based on their professional knowledge, skills, and competencies. Participation in such competitions contributes to achieving the 9th Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) — "Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure."
As a result of the BRICS+ Future Skills & Tech Challenge Super Cup, the KazNU team won an honorable 3rd place among all participants from BRICS Plus countries and secured 1st place among the Kazakhstani teams.
