Analysis of statistical data on gender equality

On October 5, 2024, an open educational hour on the topic: "Analysis of statistical data on gender equality" was held in 316 Room of the Faculty of Philology. Gender statistic date in Kazakhstan were discussed at the event. The statistics of women and men in the field of education, employment, human rights and politics, prepared by the National Bureau of Statistics of the Republic of Kazakhstan, were discussed. By these data  Kazakhstan ranks  the 62ndout of 146 countries in terms of gender, where the literacy rate of women is 99.9%, and a lot of information has been mastered on management and policy issues, in the field of employment and women's rights. The participants of the open educational hour shared their thoughts on gender policy, expressed their opinion on equality between men and women. The teaching staff   of the department and the  students took part in this event.
