Presentation at the International Symposium: “International cooperation on promoting school and university education reform: Kazakhstan and Japan”

Takashi Ninomiya (Invited Professor, Associate Professor) and Shadayeva Madina (Senior Lecturer), faculty members of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University 24 september 2024 participated in an international symposium at the Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages. Not only Ablai Khan University faculty and graduate students, but also faculty from Waseda University in Japan gave presentations on education. The event was a great success. Ninomiya and Shadayeva gave a presentation on “Development of Kazakh Language Teaching Materials for Japanese Students.” They explained the process of writing and publishing “Introduction to Practical Kazakh” and “Basic Vocabulary of Kazakh and Russian”, which have been published with the support of the University of Tsukuba. We are planning to publish textbooks titled “A Guide to Kazakh Grammar” and “Easy Kazakh” in the future.
