On October 11, 2024, a teacher of the Department of Biophysics, Biomedicine and Neurobiology Faculty of biology and biotechnology, Syraiyl S. 1nd-year students of the 6B05108-Biomedicine program held an event on the topic "We are against smoking".
Students have prepared presentations and videos showing the chemical composition of tobacco, low nicotine addiction occurs, how tobacco destroys their body, and how important it is to quit smoking.
The event showed that in order to implement the SDG "healthy lifestyle and well-being", it is very important to promote a healthy lifestyle, engage in sports, form an understanding of young people about how harmful tobacco use and smoking habits are in order to benefit society and form the well-being of citizens.
