WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE SDGS "PARTNERSHIP FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT", THE DEPARTMENT OF CHINESE STUDIES MET WITH THE LEADERSHIP OF THE NORTHWESTERN POLYTECHNIC UNIVERSITY OF CHINA

On the 18th of October, 2024 the deputy dean of the Institute of Foreign Languages at the North-West Polytechnic University of China Mrs. Ma Ying and associate professor of this institute Jiang Xuehua paid a visit to the Faculty of Oriental Studies. The guests from the Chinese city of Xi'an were welcomed by the deputy dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies Saya Bolatkhanovna, the head of the Department of Chinese Studies Kerimbaev Yerzhan, the deputy head of the Department on scientific-innovative activity and international relations Koibakova Aizhan and the prominent scientist of the Department Daulet Fatimabibi. During the meeting the parties discussed the development of co-operation in various directions. In particular, such issues as bilateral student exchange, professional development of teachers, holding summer and winter schools, creation of joint scientific projects, joint publication of quality publications by scientists were discussed. The representatives of the two departments expressed their readiness to make efforts to launch the necessary mechanisms for the implementation of the mentioned issues in the future. The talks, during which the issues raised were actively discussed, were held in a friendly and businesslike atmosphere.
