On October 14, 2024, as part of the GREEN CAMPUS project, a greening event was held at the Department of Biodiversity and Bioresources with the participation of students majoring in Biology. The main goal of the event was to develop students' understanding of the Green Campus concept as one of the tools for promoting, supporting and implementing environmental innovations in Kazakhstan, as well as to foster a patriotic attitude towards environmental protection, in accordance with Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 15.
The second goal of the event was to involve students in public activities, which contributes to the development of social and environmental responsibility among young people.
