New directions for digital education

A meeting with Gulzhauar Bekzhanova, representative of the Moscow publishing house EDP Hub, was held at the Faculty of History of Al-Farabi KazNU. Within the framework of the event they discussed the prospects of co-operation in the field of publishing, including joint publication and republishing of books by the authors of the university.

The monograph "Turkmen of Kazakhstan" by Amanzhol Kalysh Boranbayuly, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Archaeology, Ethnology and Museology, Faculty of History, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi, was also published by this publishing house.

One of the key topics of the meeting was the inclusion of teachers' works in the company's digital products and the promotion of KazNU's scientific school.
Participants also considered the development of digital educational resources, such as the national educational platform E-UNI.KZ and the digital library IPR SMART, which provides more than 100,000 educational materials, periodicals and multimedia content.
The event was organised by the Department of Science and Innovation and the Faculty of History of KazNU. The meeting was an important step towards strengthening co-operation between educational institutions and publishers in Kazakhstan and opens new horizons for the development of digital education.
