The Day of Korean Culture was held in KazNU within the framework of SDG ‘Quality Education’
On October 23, 2024, the Department of Far East Studies at the Faculty of Oriental Studies hosted the annual "K-CULTURE DAY" event, organized for 1st to 3rd year students with the support of the Education Center of the Republic of Korea in Almaty.
The main organizers were Professor Lee Byung-Jo and the advisors of the Korean Studies program. The goal of the event was to introduce students to Korean culture and strengthen their interest in Korean studies, fostering an atmosphere of unity and friendship among the students.
The program included vibrant musical performances, such as K-POP singing and dancing, as well as interactive games and quizzes about Korea. The students' talents in singing and dancing, along with their knowledge in the quiz competitions, pleasantly surprised all participants and guests.
The event took place in a fun and educational atmosphere and became a great opportunity for students not only to expand their knowledge of Korea but also to exchange important information essential for their further studies in Korean studies.
