As part of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) No. 17 "Partnerships for the Goals," on October 8, 2024, the faculty of the Department of Archaeology, Ethnology, and Museology organized a roundtable discussion with scholars from the French Republic's research center for Russia, the Caucasus, Eastern Europe, and Central Asia (CERCEC). The event was titled "Current Issues in Contemporary Ethnology and Anthropology." During this academic meeting, ethnologists and anthropologists discussed pressing issues in modern research, including methodologies for gathering ethnographic data, new approaches in anthropological studies, and regional aspects of these disciplines.
