"The Declaration of State Sovereignty - the Basis of Successful Social Policy in Kazakhstan"

On October 24, 2024, at the Faculty of Law of al-Farabi Kazakh National University, teachers of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law, Doctor of LawBaimakhanova D.M., Candidate of Law A. K. Isabekov, Candidate of Law N. K. Mynbatyrova and the student club "Amanat" (group 407 of the Faculty of Law) organized a leadership lecture by the Head of the Employment and Social Programs Department of Almaty B. Zhaubasov on the topic: "The Declaration of State Sovereignty - the Basis of Successful Social Policy in Kazakhstan", dedicated to the Republic Day within the framework of SDG 16 "Peace, Justice and Effective Institutions". At the leadership lecture, in his speech, Baurzhan Zhanatovich noted the importance of the Declaration of State Sovereignty for the effective development of the social state in Kazakhstan. He also revealed the main areas of work of the Department of Employment and Social Programs, such as providing targeted social assistance in the field of employment and providing medical and sanitary assistance to disabled people, pensioners, low-income and large families, young professionals.

​The students asked the lecturer many questions regarding social programs for the employment of young professionals, student internships.

Summing up the speech, the lecturer congratulated everyone on the Republic Day and called for the development of social programs related to the effective development of an inclusive society and a social state in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
