At the Department of Middle Eastern and South Asian Studies, a curatorial session dedicated to Republic Day was held within the framework of the SDG "Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions"
On October 24, 2024, advisors A. Boranbayeva and G. Kudaibergenova of the Iranology Department in the Faculty of Oriental Studies held a curatorial session for students on the topic "Kazakhstan's Role on the Global Stage: Diplomacy and Partnership," in honor of Republic Day on October 25.
The event covered Kazakhstan's position on the global stage, its foreign policy, and its path as an independent, sovereign nation in the world community. Kazakhstan's foreign policy is rooted in ensuring national security, integrating into regional and sub-regional structures, promoting development as an independent state through favorable external conditions, constructive dialogue, and multilateral cooperation. The session also highlighted the systematic political, trade-economic, scientific-technical, and cultural cooperation between Kazakhstan and Iran. At the end of the event, students asked questions about the country’s foreign policy and shared their thoughts. The importance of obtaining quality education was emphasized, as the future of Kazakhstan lies in the hands of the youth.
