IT IS IMPORTANT TO IMPROVE FINANCIAL LITERACY

On October 2, 2024, the head of the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law G.A. Kuanalieva, together with the curator of the 403 academic group of the 4th year, senior lecturer A.A. Yesekeyeva, held a seminar with students on the topic "Financial literacy: why it is important and how to improve it" within the framework of SDG-1. Conducting seminars and courses to improve financial and legal literacy among the target audience is a very important step. These activities help people acquire the necessary knowledge and skills for everyday life. In addition, such programs are aimed at protecting the rights of citizens and reducing financial risks. Training in financial planning, budget management and legal issues plays an important role in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This is especially conducive to reducing inequality among the local population and ensuring sustainable economic growth.
