IRRIGATION PRACTICE, MANAGEMENT/PROTECTION OF WATER RESOURCES FOR LOCAL COMMUNITIES.
On October 5, 2024, Senior Lecturers of the Department of Customs, Financial, and Environmental Law, PhD Dr. Erezhepkyzy Roza and Gulmira Kuralbekovna Shulanbekova, held an important event as part of the implementation of SDG 6 "Clean Water and Sanitation." The event, titled "Irrigation Practice, Management/Protection of Water Resources for Local Communities," was conducted with students from the Faculty of Law.
The purpose of the meeting was not only to educate students on the legal aspects of water management and protection but also to raise awareness among the local population about the importance of sustainable water use.
During the meeting, we discussed effective methods of water conservation, modern irrigation technologies, and legal aspects of water resource protection. The students actively shared their knowledge and practical recommendations to contribute to the sustainable development of the region. Events like these help not only to increase the awareness of the local community but also to prepare future specialists who will be capable of protecting the environment at a legal level.
Thanks to this event, participants learned about advanced practices in water law and the importance of protecting natural resources for future generations. We are confident that our joint efforts will bring us closer to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and contribute to the sustainable development of the region!
