The fundamentals of the legal system are analyzed

On October 11, 2024, within the framework of the UN Sustainable Development Goal 16 "Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions," a 1st-year undergraduate student of the Department of Customs, Financial, and Environmental Law, Salavatuly Damir, held a meeting with 11th-grade students of the Myrzabek Duyssenov School-Lyceum № 15 in the in Kyzylorda region, Kyzylorda city, Baitursynov street, 21a on the topic: "Fundamentals of the Legal System: How the Legal System is Structured in the Country, Its Main Institutions and Functions."
The main goal of the event was to familiarize students with the key principles of Kazakhstan's legal system, its main institutions, and functions. During the session, attention was drawn to the importance of legal norms for society, as well as how these norms protect the rights and interests of citizens. Participants were given the opportunity to explore the structure of the judiciary, the system of law enforcement agencies, and the procedural aspects that ensure justice and legality.
In conclusion, the graduate student emphasized that understanding the fundamentals of the legal system is an integral part of forming legal consciousness and an active civic position. Awareness of one's rights and responsibilities is key to creating a harmonious society, where everyone can participate in the protection of justice and legality. This meeting served as an important step toward strengthening the legal literacy of youth, fostering a conscious attitude towards legal norms and their role in society.
