From International Contacts of Ethnographers
As part of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) No. 4 "Quality Education," Candidate of Historical Sciences and Professor T.E. Kartayeva conducted a research visit to Azerbaijan.
Professor Tattigul Kartayeva from the Department of Archaeology, Ethnology, and Museology of the Faculty of History visited the "Ethnography of Turkic Peoples," "Historical Ethnology," and "Contemporary Ethnology" departments at the Institute of History and Ethnology named after A.A. Bakikhanov at the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Azerbaijan to exchange scientific experience. During the visit, Professor T.E. Kartayeva presented the interdisciplinary research and scientific projects of her department’s scholars. She also familiarized herself with the latest studies in ethnological sciences within the Republic of Azerbaijan and established scientific contacts for future interdisciplinary research. Additionally, she connected with ethnoarchaeologist Najab Museibli, exchanging views and information regarding the ethnoarchaeological research conducted by her department.
