Sections «Theoretical and Applied Mechanics» and «Space Technologies and Robotic Systems» at the conference «Computational and Information Technologies in Science, Engineering and Education» (CITech-2024)
On October 23-24, the International Conference «Computational and Information Technologies in Science, Engineering and Education» (CITech-2024) was held, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and the 75th anniversary of academician Sh.S. Smagulov. The opening ceremony was officially conducted by the President of the National Academy of Engineering of Kazakhstan, academician Bakytzhan Tursynuly. The plenary reports were presented by Doctor of Ph.D., Professor of the Department of Mechanics of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics Aidarkhan Zhusipbekovich and other academicians, professors and scientists.
On the second day of the conference, presentations in the «Theoretical and Applied Mechanics» section included those by associate professor of the Department of Mechanics, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences Tulegen Ospanovich; Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Uzak Kairbekovich; first-year doctoral student in «Mechanics» Asan Balnur; and second-year master’s students in «Mechanics and Energy» Aytkhozha Zhansaya and Rymkul Ersultan.
In the «Space Technologies and Robotic Systems» section, presentations were delivered by Candidate of Technical Sciences Abylai Kabekovich; Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Jumadil Zhanabaevich; third-year undergraduate student in «Data Science» Toktasyn Miras; and second-year doctoral student in «Robotic Systems» Suleimenov Madi.
The section moderator was Balzhan Ibragimkyzy, Deputy Head of the Department of Mechanics for Scientific and Innovative Activities and International Cooperation. Scientific conferences on DIG 4 «Quality education», DIG 9 «Industry, Innovation and infrastructure», DIG 17 «Partnerships for Sustainable Development» open doors to the world of science, inspire new discoveries and offer unique opportunities for networking. We met successful scientists participating in international conferences and shared their experiences.
