A round table on "Multiculturalism and our society" was held

On October 24, 2024, a round table on "Multiculturalism and our society" was held at the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science, dedicated to celebrating the Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event discussed issues of multiculturalism, its importance for modern Kazakhstani society and development prospects in the context of globalization.

Students, teachers and invited experts took part in the discussion. Second-year students of the departments of cultural studies and pedagogy actively participated in the discussions, shared their scientific views and exchanged opinions on topical issues of cultural diversity and interaction of ethnic and religious groups in Kazakhstan. During the meeting, the participants discussed important aspects of multiculturalism, its positive aspects and the challenges it poses to society, especially in a globalizing world.

The event became a fruitful platform for dialogue and exchange of experience, contributing to the strengthening of intercultural understanding and the development of a scientific approach to solving complex issues related to multiculturalism in the modern society of Kazakhstan.
