Leadership lecture on the topic: "From words to deeds: leadership in parliamentary activities"

As part of a guest lecture at the Faculty of International Relations of the al-Farabi Kazakh National University, a meeting was held between first-year students majoring in "International Relations", "International Law", "World Economy", "Regional Studies" with an employee of the Representative Office of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Presidential Administration) Akhmetov Erik Bauyrzhanovich, who is a graduate of the faculty.
The event was opened with a welcoming speech by the Dean of the Faculty, PhD in Law, Associate Professor Zhuldyz Talgatovna Sairambayeva.
The guest began his speech with the basics of the development of parliamentarism in Kazakhstan. He spoke in detail about the rule-making process within the walls of the legislative body, and Kazakhstan's international treaties with other subjects of international law. During the lecture, students asked questions regarding the structure of the Parliament, the stage of passing bills, and entering the civil service. Constant feedback was maintained with the audience, and an active discussion was held. Overall, the lecture was interesting, relevant, the students showed great interest in the guest's speech, and it is especially important that the examples from experience given served to increase the students' interest in their specialty. At the end of the event, the faculty management and students expressed their gratitude to the guest, noting that the lecture was informative and contained a lot of interesting and useful information.
