Familiarization of schoolchildren with educational programs and research centers of the University

On October 29, 2024, students of the 11th grade of the State Educational Institution "B. Beisekbayev Gymnasium School with a preschool mini-center" of the state institution "Department of Education for the Balkhash district of the Department of Education of the Almaty region" visited the al-Farabi Kazakh National University, the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Sciences in order to familiarize themselves with educational programs and scientific centers of the faculty, the university.

The head of the UNESCO Chair for Sustainable Development Bazarbayeva T. A. conducted career guidance, familiarization work with the Research Center for Sustainable Development and Environmental Management of the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management.

The students showed great interest in the laboratories and educational programs of the faculty. The doctoral student of the department of Oshakbai Aitu conducted a tour of the university library, the student service center "Keremet", and the students also visited the biological museum.
