An open hour on the topic "Development of quality education and professional sustainability of students".
On October 29, 2024, an open group hour was held with the teacher of the Department of geography, land management and cadastre Asen N. K. and 4th year students of the educational program "Cadastre" on the topic "development of quality education and professional stability of students".
The purpose of the lesson is to show students the importance of obtaining knowledge and developing professional qualifications, to explain the economic efficiency of maintaining professional stability in the profession. Exchange of views on the principles and prospects of the cadastral profession.
During the open hour, students touched upon topics such as professional orientation, practical experience, skill development, innovative teaching methods, career development planning, psychological support at work, and social contacts. Students, as future cadaster specialists, at the initial stage, i.e. when choosing a profession, discussed the importance of the right direction and providing them with information about various fields, passing professional practice and organizing mentoring programs.
The profession of cadastre is currently considered one of the most important and promising industries for society. This specialty includes functions such as accounting, registration, valuation of land, real estate, and natural resources and their effective management. Cadastre specialists perform many important tasks, such as defining the boundaries of land plots, establishing their legal status, and planning land use.
Due to the development of modern technologies, cadastral systems are being transformed into a digital format, introducing automation processes, increasing the availability of information. In addition, in real-world monitoring of land resources, the use of geographic information systems (GIS) and satellite images shows that cadaster specialists can help determine the state of the earth.
Obviously, this profession will not only retain its importance, but will also gain new opportunities in the future with the advent of new technologies and methods.
