Within the framework of Sustainable Development Goal №17. Partnership for Sustainable Development

The faculty of the Department of World History, Historiography and Source Studies of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University received letters of gratitude from the Director of the Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This award recognizes their contribution to the development of cooperation between the university and the archive.

Within the framework of the partnership, the faculty of the department takes an active part in:

• Organization of joint scientific events: conferences, seminars, round tables dedicated to topical issues of the history of Kazakhstan and the world.
• Conducting research based on archival documents: teachers and students get access to unique materials of the Presidential Archive, which allows them to conduct in-depth and original research.
• Development of curricula and courses: cooperation with the archive contributes to the enrichment of the educational process, the introduction of new methods of teaching history.

Letters of gratitude from the Director of the Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan are a recognition of the high qualification of the department's teachers, their dedication to science and education, as well as the importance of cooperation between the university and the archive for the development of historical science in Kazakhstan.
