Associate Professor Ayna Askeroglu Arslan from Istanbul University visited the Faculty of Oriental Studies within the framework of the SDG "Quality Education"

On October 29, 2024, Associate Professor and Doctor of Historical Sciences Ayna Askeroglu Arslan visited Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Ayna Askeroglu Arslan is a member of the editorial board of the Eurasian Studies journal AVID and the author of numerous publications indexed in international databases such as Scopus and WOS.

During her visit, the professor met with the Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, Natalia Borisovna Yem. They discussed prospects for international cooperation between Istanbul University and KazNU, including academic mobility, the organization of offline seminars, and other joint events.

As a result of the visit, an agreement was reached for Professor Ayna Askeroglu Arslan to conduct lectures at the Department of Turkology and History of Eastern Countries. The lecture program will cover topics such as "Current Issues in Historical Research" and "Islam and Politics in the Modern World."

This is a unique opportunity for students and faculty to ask questions and exchange experiences with a recognized expert in Turkology, history, religion, and culture.
