SDG 17. AN INSTRUCTIVE EVENT DEDICATED TO THE 100TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE PEOPLE'S WRITER OF KAZAKHSTAN ABDIZHAMIL NURPEISOV

On October 29, 2024,  at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, at  the Faculty of Philology, the Department of Kazakh Literature and Literary Theory organized the international conference  on the topic:  "The History of the development of Kazakh Prose and new directions in Literary Studies" in the Al-Farabi Library, dedicated to the people's writer of Kazakhstan,  Abdizhamil Nurpeisov’s  100th anniversary  who made a great contribution to Kazakh literature. In their reports, domestic scientists and scientists from Turkey and Uzbekistan highly appreciated the works of the writer, once again emphasizing that these are valuable things that have become the best works of world literature.

The young scientists and doctoral students who were  present at the conference  were told about a huge number of new aspects that have yet to be explored in the works of the artist's gift. At the end of the conference,  there was a presentation of  "Last Duty" novel by A. Nurpeisov  by the  1st year students of  "Literary Studies", major. The audience was pleased with  the students’ presentation.  They  skillfully conveyed the main  idea of  the writer's work through the  images of Azim and others.

Invited to this event, Professor of  Zhurgenov Academy of Arts, People's Writer of Kazakhstan,  Smagul Yelubayev,  in his  report on the topic:  "The world of Abdizhamil Nurpeisov" focused on the artistic skill of the writer's works and shared interesting facts. Such events are of  a great educational importance for students.
