SDG-4. Kozybayev Sagymbay Kabashovich was congratulated by the staff of the Department on his 80th birthday

Today, Professor of the Department of Print and Electronic Media of the Faculty of Journalism congratulated the President of the Kazakhstan Academy of Journalism, Doctor of Historical Sciences Kozybayev Sagymbai Kabashevich on the 80th anniversary of the department staff and Dean Kanat Auesbayevich.

Professor Kozybayev Sagymbai Kabashevich is one of the founders of Kazakh scientific journalism and education, a well-known writer, scientist and teacher of several generations in the field of journalism of the country. He is a laureate of the B. Bulkyshev Prize, a six-time laureate of the Union of Journalists of Kazakhstan, an honorary diploma holder of the International Federation of Journalists, as well as an academician of the Academy of Political Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan (1997) and one of its organizers, on whose initiative the Kazakhstan Academy of Journalists was established, of which he became the first president (2001). The Altyn Zhuldyz and Altyn Samruk awards, awarded by the Academy, are state prizes of a high degree of journalism.

Kalyn eli is the author of the encyclopedia of Kazakh politics, founder and editor–in-chief of the republican scientific journal "From the History of domestic journalism" on the history of domestic journalism, editor-in-chief and author of the project "Handbook of a journalist of Kazakhstan" and is known as the first scientist to defend a doctoral thesis in the field of journalism in the CIS. He is known as the first scientist to defend it.
