
On October 29, 2024, first-year master’s students in the specialty “Pedagogical History” (7M01601) from the History Faculty of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, under the guidance of Tolkyn Nurasylovna Mukhazhanova, a lecturer from the Department of World History, Historiography, and Source Studies, held an event titled “Save Water.” The event was organized to raise awareness about the shortage of fresh water and to foster a responsible attitude toward natural resources among students.
During the event, participants placed stickers and discussed urgent issues related to fresh water scarcity, methods of water conservation, and pollution prevention. They also emphasized the importance of instilling a culture of water conservation from a young age and participating in public initiatives aimed at protecting water resources.
The master’s students actively participated in the discussions, sharing their ideas and suggestions on water conservation and the protection of aquatic ecosystems.
Tolkyn Nurasylovna Mukhazhanova, a lecturer from the Department of World History, Historiography, and Source Studies, expressed her gratitude to the master’s students for their active involvement and valuable ideas on water preservation. She stressed that with joint efforts, significant achievements in conserving water resources for future generations can be realized.
