KazNU students get acquainted with leading Turkish companies

On November 2, 2024, a job fair “Talent for Biz” was held in Almaty, organized by the Human Resource Management Department of the Turkish Presidential Administration. The event brought together students of Kazakhstani universities and leading entrepreneurs of Turkey interested in establishing professional contacts with young people.

The opening ceremony was attended by Mr. Salim Atay, Head of the Department, Mr. Evren Muderrisoglu, Consul General of Turkey in Almaty , as well as representatives of major Turkish companies such as Turkish Airlines, Turkish Aerospace, Aselsan, Havelsan, Halk Bankası, Türk Telekom and TİKA. Among the participants were also representatives of Turkish companies active in the Kazakh market, such as Abdi İbrahim, Ziraat Bankası, TAV Airports, FLO Group and Koton.

KazNU students had a unique opportunity to communicate directly with representatives of Turkish companies, to learn about internship and traineeship options, as well as to ask questions about career prospects.

In addition, the companies Ziraat Bankası and TAV Airports were invited to the next job fair, which will be held on 22 November 2024 at the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi, which opens additional opportunities for students to establish professional contacts and prepare for future careers.
