THE "LANDING OF THE SDGS" IN ACTION!

October 30, 2024 The "Landing of the SDGs" of the student scientific club "Historical Computing" met with 2nd year students of the specialty "6B03205 – Library information systems". The students were provided with detailed information about the multilateral agreement between all UN member states on the Goals of Sustainable Human Development. A roadmap to a more sustainable future was outlined. It is noted that each of the 17 goals has corresponding objectives and indicators that help measure progress and ensure the sustainability of our planet.

The presentation aroused great interest among the audience. During the discussion, thoughts were expressed on the importance of the SDGs and measures to eliminate poverty, poverty, various types of inequality (gender, information, etc.). They noted that every citizen of Kazakhstan should make every effort to increase economic growth and address a number of issues in the field of education, health, social protection and employment in the republic, as well as contribute to the fight against climate change and environmental protection.
