LETTER OF APPRECIATION FROM THE CHAIRMAN OF THE PEOPLE'S HEADQUARTERS
The referendum on the construction of a nuclear power plant, held on October 6 of this year, is of great strategic importance for the future of our sovereign country. In this regard, political parties and public organizations in the republic joined forces to form the People's Headquarters in support of the nuclear power plant project. On September 6, Erlan Koshanov, Speaker of the Mazhilis and Chairman of the "AMANAT" Party, chaired the first meeting of the People's Headquarters to support the nuclear power plant. The headquarters includes around 250 representatives from six political parties and approximately 20 national public associations.
"The construction of a nuclear power plant is a dynamic project that will guarantee Kazakhstan's successful development for many years to come. Leading figures both in our country and worldwide recognize the efficiency of nuclear energy. Above all, this is a safe, reliable, and environmentally friendly project. We stand on the threshold of a significant choice. Therefore, the role of the People's Headquarters is to carry out extensive outreach efforts both domestically and internationally to mobilize society in support of the nuclear power plant. The referendum on October 6 will reflect our unity," said Erlan Koshanov.
Head of the Department of Finance and Accounting at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Kerimbek Galymzhan Eskarauly, without looking up from the public discussion, expressed his point of view as an economist expert, published an article and gave interviews in several media outlets. Additionally, as a member of the political council of the Amanat party in the Bostandyk district of Almaty, I participated in meetings held at various institutions, presented reports, and addressed key questions from the public.
