Roundtable "Transboundary Environmental Problems between Central Asian States"
On 23.03.2024 a round table on "Transboundary environmental problems between the states of Central Asia" in the university of the People's Republic of China "SouthWest China University" was held.
Objective: To guide students to find ways to solve environmental problems at the international level by identifying, discussing and analyzing them. To provide a cultural exchange between students of Central Asian universities.
The event was attended by a 2nd-year student of the Geoecology educational program of the UNESCO Department for Sustainable Development of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management Amrebayeva Ansara Aidarovna.
At the round table, special attention was paid to the topics of water resources, reducing the quality of atmospheric air, desertification, in particular, the importance of discussing the proper use of water resources between the states of China and Kazakhstan was noted.
