Sergey Karpov, Specialist of the Communications and Information Department of the UNESCO Cluster Office in Almaty: "At the last meeting of the UNESCO Department of Journalism and Communications, we felt the importance of cooperation. The problems raised by the department aroused great interest in the countries of Central Asia. The establishment of partnerships between the department and universities of Central Asia and international institutions is aimed at discussing innovative methods and techniques of education for sustainable development and sharing experiences. Four leading journalism universities in Kyrgyzstan have begun to actively use the resources of the international program for the development of communication in the Kyrgyz language based on courses developed by the UNESCO Department of Journalism and Communications of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University to improve the quality of training for journalists. It's nice. Without such measures, it would be difficult to develop sustainable platforms to improve the quality of education".
