Rehabilitation is the way to modern mobility of people with visual disabilitie

On October 30, 2024, a seminar "Rehabilitation – the way to modern mobility of people with visual disabilities" was held at the rehabilitation center "Zhyly Uya" NGO "KOS", where heads and representatives of NGOs and educational institutions of Almaty working with people with disabilities were invited. 
The moderator of the seminar, the rehabilitologist of the Zhyly Uya center, Iminova Mariyam Ruzakhunovna, familiarized the participants in detail with the work of the center. The screen showed video reviews of people who had completed comprehensive rehabilitation courses here and how their lives had changed for the better. Now they feel more confident not only with their family and at home, but also in society.
The speakers talked about their work with the visually impaired and expressed gratitude to the specialists of the Center for the great work they do together with other organizations of the city.
Representatives of the Scientific and Practical Center "Inclusive Environment" of alt-Fapabi Kazakh National University familiarized with the activities of the center in working with students with special educational needs and answered questions about the conditions of study at the university for people with disabilities. Prospects for further cooperation with the Rehabilitation Center are outlined.
