On November 11, the Regional Stage of the Republican Scientific Projects Competition for General Education Subjects Took Place
On November 11, the regional stage of the Republican Scientific Projects Competition among students in general education subjects took place. This event was aimed at developing the research skills of talented students, supporting innovative ideas, and fostering creative thinking. The main goal of the competition is to engage students in science and support the development of their personal abilities. (SDG 4)
The competition jury included faculty members from the Mechanics Department of KazNU: Candidate of Technical Sciences and Associate Professor Zhumasheva J.T., PhD Kaliyeva N.B., and PhD Akhmetova B.I. The jury members evaluated the participants’ projects with a professional perspective, paying special attention to their scientific novelty and relevance.
The competition was held across several sections, with particular interest in the Technology and Earth and Space Sciences sections.
The Technology section was filled with participants' research aimed at solving various challenges in technical sciences, developing new devices, implementing new methods, and addressing engineering problems.
The Earth and Space Sciences section featured student projects dedicated to the study of outer space and the application of new information and technological methods for the ecology of planet Earth. The projects on space exploration and the analysis of phenomena in the universe were especially noteworthy. (SDG 7)
As a result of the competition, the best projects advanced to the next stage, providing students with the opportunity to showcase their scientific potential at the republican level.
