Round table on the topic: "Audit in the context of digitalization: new tools and trends"

As part of the implementation of the Message of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to the people of Kazakhstan, titled "Fair Kazakhstan: Law and Order, Economic Growth, Public Optimism" (dated September 2, 2024), and in alignment with the fifth direction, "It is important to consistently increase the country's human resources potential," as well as Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4—"Ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and encouraging lifelong learning opportunities for all"—the Department of Finance and Accounting of the Higher School of Economics and Business (HSEB) at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted a round table on November 12, 2024, dedicated to the International Day of Accountants.

The event, themed "Audit in the Context of Digitalization: New Tools and Trends," was attended by the administration of the Higher School, faculty members of the department, and various guests. They discussed the challenges and opportunities of developing partnerships between the faculty and young scientists of the HSEB. The round table also featured representatives from public organizations and practitioners who focused on addressing current, pressing issues in the field of auditing in the context of digitalization. Additionally, students of the Higher School of Economics and Business were involved in solving practical accounting and auditing problems.
